Travel to Fiji Passports and Visas
Fiji welcomes visitors and to facilitate easy entry, everything has been done to make the process as pleasant as possible. A valid passport for at least six months beyond the intended period of stay and a ticket for return or onward travel to another country, which he/she is authorized to enter, is required. Entry visas are granted on arrival for a stay of 4 months or less for nationals of United States of America.

Nadi International Airport
The main international gateway and Nausori near Suva, is also used as an international airport in Fiji. There are several domestic airports throughout the country of Fiji.
Air Pacific is Fiji's international carrier that has direct flights from Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Narita (Japan). Air Pacific is a full partner of the Qantas Frequent Flyer programme and has code-share arrangements.
Other airlines that fly into Fiji are Qantas, Air New Zealand, Korean Air, V Australia and Pacific Blue.
Fiji Duty Rates
Fiscal duty and VAT are levied on all goods in excess of concessions. Fiscal duty rates vary depending on the goods, whereas VAT is uniformly applied at 12.5%. VAT is applied on a base, which includes the value of the goods plus any fiscal duty payable.
Fiji Departure Tax
Visitors to Fiji are required to pay departure tax. This would be already included in your air ticket.
