Ultra Tech Travel donated a Sandals Vacation to Susquehanna Valley Harley-Davidson's Black and Blue Ball: February 2010!
The money raised from Black and Blue is kept in the Central PA area and is used for a variety of purposes from research at Hershey Medical Center to weekly clinics that assist those suffering from neuromuscular diseases and also used to help cover the expenses to provide a week long Summer Camp for children that otherwise would not get a camp experience. Since 1955, the national Muscular Dystrophy Association has been able to account for sending over 200.000 children to camp. It is an amazing opportunity to be such a big part of such a worthwhile cause. Thank you for your support over the years Lindsey!!!!!

The charity that benefits from Black and Blue is the Central PA chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Association. This year with the help of great sponsors like, Prime Care Medical, Johnson and Johnson, Rider Insurance, Ultra Tech Travel and Gordon's Jewelers, we were able to raise over $28,000.00. The money will go directly to families and research in the Central PA area ... weather it be camp for the kids this summer or researches at Hershey Medical Center ... all the funding stays local. MDA also offers weekly clinics and services for their clients through this type of funding. Service, that otherwise, the families may never be able to receive.

Knowing my passion for travel and dreams of owning a travel agency someday, at the age of 17, I decided to attend York Technical Institute (YTI) to earn a degree in Travel & Tourism. At the age of 18, I started my internship with American Airlines as a ticket and gate agent. After completing my internship, American Airlines promoted me to lead agent/manager. To broaden my knowledge in the travel industry, I decided to take a travel agent position with my local AAA Travel Agency. Then at the age of 21, I interviewed with
and was offered the position as Regional Business development Sales Manager. This position was glamorous; jet setting to all the islands, exclusive dinner parties with Mr. Gordon Stewart (owner of Sandals) on his private yacht, and lavish dinners with top producing agents. Part of my responsibility was to train and educate the Travel Agencies about the destinations and resorts. I have traveled to Jamaica countless number of times as well as many frequent trips to Antigua, St Lucia, Nassau, Puerto Rico, Barbados, and Turks and Caicos.

After working for Sandals & Beaches for a number of years, I decided it was time to chase my dream of owning and operating a travel agency. Thomas Smith, President of Ultra Tech Travel in Tullytown, PA presented the opportunity for me to own and operate my own business under the name of Ultra Tech Travel which is one of the most respected agencies in the Sandals & Beaches family. With this opportunity my dreams came true!
There are so many misconceptions about travel agents. I enjoy educating the public and advising them to use travel consultants specializing in their destination. I specialize in destination weddings, honeymoons, family travel, and luxury travel. I love qualifying my clients, asking them specific questions to help them decide which resort(s) best fit their personality; my idea of a honeymoon may be completely different from theirs. I make several trips a year to the Caribbean for the following reasons: to keep updated with resort renovations/modifications, conduct hotel site inspections, to continue an exceptional relationship with all General Managers and employees of Sandals and Beaches resorts. Our experiences as travel agents play an important role in assisting clients to make the right decision when selecting one of our Sandals & Beaches Resorts. Twice a year I attend an extensive five hour workshop to stay current with my certification as a "Preferred Certified Sandals Specialist." By putting forth 100% and dedicating my life's passion toward travel, I now own and operate Ultra Tech Travel in Etters, PA. Ultra Tech Travel is one of Sandals & Beaches Resorts Top Ten Agencies world wide; awarded the chairman's prestigious "Best of the Best" seal of approval, "Best of the Best" agency consecutively for 12 years. I have achieved gold status with Sandals & Beaches and rapidly working toward platinum!
